Siobhan McDonald TCD Creative Challenge Exhibition

Siobhan McDonald won a valuable Trinity Creative Challenge Award in support of her Future Breath project comprised of a series of enquiries into environmental change, and the resulting exhibition runs at Science Gallery Dublin from 12th - 15th December 2018..




Eoin Mac Lochlainn and Yanny Petters at OCG

Eoin Mac Lochlainn and Yanny Petters both have work on display at Olivier Cornet Gallery's Winter show, Somewhere between perception and reality, a lighter version of which was first presented at VUE Art Fair 2018. 9th December 2018 - 17th February 2019.






Colin Martin at Graphic Studio Gallery

New work by Colin Martin features in Graphic Studio Gallery's 2019 Sponsors Portfolio, launching at the opening of their Winter Show, which runs from 8th December 2018 - 15th January 2019.




Geraldine O'Neill and Colin Martin at Glor Ennis

Geraldine O'Neill, Colin Martin and other major contemporary Irish artists are shnowcased in Mick O'Dea Selects..., the latest in the Glór Ennis Selects series, in which leading Irish artists curate an exhibition of artists whose work has influenced or inspired their own work. 7th December 2018 - 19th January 2019; official opening Friday 14th December.

Golden Fleece Award winners Cecilia Moore (2018 Award) and Jennifer Trouton (2016 Award) both feature in the Rua Red 2018 Winter Open group show. 7th December 2018 - 10th January 2019.






Damien Flood Solo at Green on Red Gallery

Damien Flood's latest solo exhibition The Figure in the Carpet at Green on Red Gallery is accompanied by a new hard-back monograph, also entitled The Figure in the Carpet, containing new work created over the last year together with two new texts responding to the artist's work by Sue Rainsford and Declan Long. The exhibition runs from November 29th 2018 - January 26th 2019.



Nuala O'Donovan at the Crawford Gallery in Cork

David Eager Maher's solo exhibition Dream Head is showing at Jarmuschek & Partner in Berlin from November 3rd - December 15th 2018.

Ursula Burke Solo at the RHA and The Dock

Ursula Burke's latest solo exhibition The Precariat brings together a body of work that seeks to investigate the experience of insecurity, using all three main areas of her practice: embroidery, porcelain and drawing. At the Royal Hibernian Academy from 7th September - 21st October 2018, then at The Dock Arts Centre from 17th November 2018 - 5th January 2019.




Lillias Mitchell Showcased in National Gallery

Lillias Mitchell, founder of the Golden Fleece Award, features in the National Gallery of Ireland's current exhibition in Room 11 [In]Visible: Irish Women Artists from the Archives showcasing material drawn from the collection of the ESB Centre for the Study of Irish Art. 19th July - mid December 2018.





Geraldine O'Reilly in Great Hunger exhibition

Geraldine O'Reilly's haunting portfolio of photo etchings The Deserted Village features in the exhibition Coming Home: Art and the Great Hunger at the Coach House Gallery in Dublin Castle. This large collection of Famine-related art is on loan from the Ireland's Great Hunger Museum at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. 8th March - 30th June 2018. Then at Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre, 20th July - 13th October 2018 and at Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin in Derry, 18th January - 16th March 2019.
