Caroline Madden is a teacher and an artist in glass and composite sculptures and installations.

While dedicating her time to teaching, she has found it very difficult to completely immerse herself in creation and would like now to have the time to bring about a cohesive body of work as an artist.

She would also like money to help her build a large kiln and equip a studio at home for making large glass pieces and sculptural objects. Currently there are no public access studios for glass in Ireland that are fully operational with twenty-four hour access.

Funding would help her to work towards both of these objectives.
