Colin MARTIN's current body of work consists of paintings in oil on board and on aluminium. He says it "employs a painterly realism that is constructed from photographs" and is "intended to be strongly atmospheric and explore meaning in the collective experience".

Has had various solo exhibitions of his work in Dublin and Cork, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions of paintings and prints at home and abroad.

Seeks funding to enable him to acquire professional standard photographic equipment, to devote more time to his artistic work, and to produce a catalogue of his next body of work.
